History of Timberline Acres

In 1996, KVW Ventures of Hudsonville, MI purchased the land that Timberline Acres is now on. When the plat was originated, KVW Ventures put a document in place to ensure that all of the homes and yards would follow guidelines for the sake of property values: Building and Use Restrictions and Covenants. Because 3 Phases of Timberline Acres were anticipated, each phase had its own Building and Use Restrictions and Covenants document, although the documents were nearly identical.

Once the Timberline Acres Homeowner's Association was formed in 20XX, some of these covenants were amended. These amendments were added to help maintain the property values and ensure neighborhood safety.

The Homeowners' Association

The Timberline Acres Homeowners' Association was formed in 20XX and is a legal Michigan corporation created to promote and maintain the safety, property values and general well-being of the members of the Association.

There are 2 main documents governing this Association: the Bylaws and the Articles-of-Incorporation. There is also a third document which is an amendment to the Bylaws and Articles-of-Incorporation. This amendment was created in 2006 to legally include Phase 3 of the development.
